Early risers in the Benbrook area may have noticed a flurry of activity as local fire departments responded to a mutual aid fire on Van Deman Drive. The blaze, which reportedly started just before dawn yesterday, brought Benbrook and Fort Worth firefighters to the scene.
According to a social media post by the Benbrook Fire Department, the fire admittedly took multiple calls to elicit a robust response. Upon arrival, the Fort Worth Fire Department teams found "heavy fire coming from the home and began their attack on the blaze." The coordinated firefighting efforts eventually managed to contain and suppress the fire, preventing further damage to the immediate area.
Impressively, the rapid response and effective teamwork between neighboring fire departments ensured no injuries were reported.
