
The Boston Police Department is reaching out to the public in a bid to identify an individual linked to a burglary in the Dorchester area. According to an alert posted on the BPD's official website, the incident occurred during daylight on November 19, 2024, within the span of 1:15 PM to 3:00 PM.
Described as a Hispanic male with glasses, the man was reportedly seen wearing a red shirt, black pants, and toting a brown backpack. In addition to these details, authorities have noted that he was wearing a lanyard around his neck and has a visible tattoo on his right arm. This suspect is accused of entering an elderly resident's apartment at 11 Woodcliff Street in the Cardinal Medeiros Manor Apartments, where he allegedly deceived the victim into surrendering financial documents and subsequently stole various personal papers and credit cards.
In their effort to resolve this case, detectives from District B-2, which covers Roxbury, are painstakingly reviewing all facts and circumstances related to the burglary. The BPD is ensuring an intensive investigation and is earnestly calling on citizens for assistance to progress the matter. They have released an image of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to step forward and contribute to the case.
