The holidays are getting a dash of sparkle and cheer with the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train to St. Louis Park, Minnesota. This one is a rolling concert, offering free musical entertainment to the community while also working towards a good cause.
According to a post from the City of St. Louis Park, the Holiday Train will park itself on West Lake Street and Library Lane at 6:00 P.M. on December 12, The lineup includes not just any performers, but the vibrant harmonies of The Lone Bellow, Tiera Kennedy, and the Holiday Train band. The performances will carry the festive spirit from 6:15 – 6:45 P.M., giving attendees a tight, thirty-minute window to bask in the holiday tunes. Those eager to revel in the festivities can start their evening early with hot food and beverages available from 4:30 P.M.
To ensure a seamless and joyful event, City officials urge attendees to arrive on the west side of the tracks before 5:45 P.M., after which crossing will be restricted due to safety precautions. The anticipation of the event may prompt even earlier arrival times for the community seeking good spots to enjoy the festivities.
Now in its third decade, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train isn't just another holiday event—it's a platform for giving. Every stop is a chance for communities to come together and support local food banks. So while the train's arrival is a spectacle in itself, the true beauty of this event lies in its dual mission of entertaining and aiding those in need during the holiday season.
