Chanhassen, Minnesota recently celebrated the holiday spirit, a time when the community comes together not just to partake in festivities, but also to give back to those in need. In an announcement shared by the City of Chanhassen Government on Facebook, residents were acknowledged for their participation and contributions during last weekend’s holiday events which included a Holiday Boutique at the Chanhassen Rec Center and a Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Center Park.

The City extended its thanks to the event sponsors, including The Mustard Seed Garden Center, SouthWest Metro Chamber of Commerce, SouthWest Transit and Buy Chanhassen. This fusion of local businesses and city efforts underscores the strong connections within the Chanhassen community, which helped make the events a success.
The efforts of the Parks maintenance team were also highlighted by the City, acknowledging the labor that went into prep and execution for the visually impressive display at City Center Park. The behind-the-scenes work often goes unnoticed, however, these acknowledgments reveal the layers of hard work that contribute to community events. The spirit of the holiday season in Chanhassen, seems to not just dwell in the festivities themselves, but also in the unity and collaborative efforts of its people.
