In an incident that shook a local neighborhood, officers responded to an alert from ShotSpotter in the 1100 block of Chittenden Avenue. According to a media release from the Columbus Division of Police, upon their arrival, the officers discovered a victim inside the residence who had sustained gunshot wounds.
The individual was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention and is expected to survive the injuries.
