A construction worker was killed in an accident involving a boom truck on I-45 in Dickinson. The incident happened around 2 p.m. on a closed section of the highway at the 3400 block of the Gulf Freeway. Police found the worker dead at the scene, and the incident is under investigation, according to CW39.
A crane from a boom truck collapsed on the job site of the I-45 Expansion Project for FM 517. The man who was killed was unfortunately under the crane when it gave way. ABC13 reported that SkyEye captured aerial footage showing the crane where the worker had been.
