A Dallas 911 Communications Employee, identified as Billy Flores, was arrested for theft at a local Target store, Wylie Police Department reported. On Monday, Target's loss prevention detained Flores and an associate after they allegedly concealed items in a stroller and attempted to exit the store without payment. The Wylie Police were summoned at approximately 7:42 pm to respond to the shoplifting incident.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement was informed by loss prevention officers that the pair, Flores and a female companion, had hidden merchandise in a children's stroller and then tried to leave the Target location. According to the social media post by the Wylie Police Department, Flores was arrested and transported to the Wylie Jail, facing a charge of Theft of Property. His female accomplice is expected to be charged at a later date.
Beyond the theft charge, Flores received two additional citations connected to previous incidents at the time of his arrest.
