In a continued effort to solve a case that has lingered in the shadows for years, the Dallas Police Department is urging the public to assist in the 2017 homicide investigation of 26-year-old Malcolm Whitaker. On a grim morning, Whitaker's lifeless body was discovered in the 2500 block of Hilburn Drive on March 3, 2017, bringing to a halt the walk of a man whose future was brutally cut short.
With the case grown cold, the department has featured it this week as part of its "Cold Case Tuesday" series, striving to reignite conversation and coax out details that may have been overlooked or withheld. According to a post from the Dallas Police Department, authorities are actively seeking information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, that could lead to closure for Whitaker's bereaved family and friends.
