
The Dallas community is grappling with news of a recent homicide that claimed the life of 36-year-old Oliver Moffett. According to the Dallas Police Department, the officers responded to reports of a shooting on Monday and discovered Moffett had been fatally injured. The incident occurred in the 7500 block of Chaucer Place around 11:30 p.m.
The subsequent police investigation led to the arrest of Keyshawn Arnell Shaw, who was charged with murder two days later. Shaw, who was located at a local hospital shortly after the crime, had been in custody before the charges were formally announced.
