
On Sunday, at approximately 9:29 a.m., officers from the Northwest District of Baltimore responded to reports of a possible shooting in the 3600 block of Bowers Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his left thigh. Emergency services transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
During their response, officers detained a person of interest and recovered a handgun at the scene. Northwest District shooting detectives have taken over the investigation to determine the events that led to the shooting. Authorities have not yet released details about a potential motive or any charges against the individual in custody.
