The incident occurred on the afternoon of July 24, 2022, when a 24-year-old man was shot and killed near the gas pumps at a station in the 20600 block of W. 7 Mile Rd.
According to information sourced from Audacy, the Detroit Police Department described the suspect as a male, last seen donning an orange baseball cap, black ski mask, a neon green t-shirt, construction vest, and black pants. After firing the shots that took the victim's life, the suspect reportedly escaped the scene in a black Dodge Ram pickup truck.
