Downtown Raleigh will shine brighter this December as the Illuminate Art Walk returns. For the fifth year, Raleigh Arts and the Downtown Raleigh Alliance partner to showcase a variety of installations and artist contributions, lighting up the streets.

According to the City of Raleigh, one of the highlights is The TUNNEL, an interactive display created by BIG ART and powered by Creos. This 100-foot LED structure features a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns, offering a mesmerizing experience. Located at City Plaza, The TUNNEL will be the centerpiece of the Art Walk.

This year's artist lineup includes familiar names like Robin Vuchnich, Britt Flood, and Jen Stone, along with Anna Dean, Jane Cheek, and Thomas Sayre. The event will also showcase works by Brian Brush, Mosca Design, Nate Shaeffer, and Oliver Lewis.

The Illuminate Art Walk is free and open to the public, running from tomorrow to January 6, 2025. Organizers recommend visiting after sunset for the best viewing. For more details, check the official event page.
