A tragic accident occurred last night on State Road 408 in Orange County when a man driving a McLaren sports car died after his vehicle crashed and burst into flames. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. near the entrance ramp to State Road 417, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the 2020 McLaren 720S was traveling in the inside lane, heading westbound on SR 408, when the driver attempted but failed to negotiate a right curve. The failure to maneuver properly led the vehicle to veer off the road to the left, colliding with a traffic sign support post, ultimately catching fire.
