Durham residents, mark your calendars for the Board of County Commissioners' final meeting of the year on Monday next week at 7 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Commissioners’ Chambers of the Administration I Building at 200 E. Main St., according to Durham County's release.
This meeting marks the first regular session for the newly configured Board of County Commissioners, including Chair Nida Allam, Vice Chair Dr. Mike Lee, and Commissioners Wendy Jacobs, Stephen Valentine, and Michelle Burton. They will wrap up 2024 and prepare for 2025. The full 2025 meeting schedule, which may change, is available online.
The BOCC meetings are open to the public, with no need for sign-ups or formal requests. While in-person attendees are encouraged to wear masks, those who prefer to watch from home can stream the meeting live on Durham County’s website or YouTube channel.
