
The Euless Police Department has made a significant breakthrough in the recent homicide case involving the shooting death of 22-year-old Alexander Antonio Borras with the arrest of 20-year-old Reynaldo Marcos Silva, who now faces a charge of Capital Murder. This development was confirmed in a social media update from the Euless Police Department.
The investigation into this tragic event commenced with urgency last Tuesday after multiple 911 calls around 4:30 p.m. reported a shooting at an apartment complex in the 1800 block of Fuller Wiser Rd, where the victim, later identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Borras, was found and ultimately succumbed to gunshot wounds. Despite the arrest, detectives continue their inquiries, and anyone with knowledge about the case is encouraged to reach out to Detectives Coffee or Norvell, demonstrating the importance of community involvement in such grave matters.
In an expression of cross-agency collaboration, the Euless Police Department acknowledged the contribution of K-9 teams from both the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and Search One Rescue Team, along with the Irving Police Department, highlighting the collective effort in apprehending Silva.
