According to WBNS, the incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. at the junction of West Broad Street and Pasadena Avenue. A 1995 Saturn, positioned at a stop sign on Pasadena Avenue, was preparing to make an eastward turn onto West Broad Street. The Saturn was struck by an oncoming 2007 Toyota Camry traveling west during this maneuver.
The collision was severe enough to propel the Saturn into the opposite lanes, subsequently colliding with a Toyota Sienna. The aftermath of the accident left Saturn's driver with injuries that proved fatal, despite prompt transportation to Doctors Hospital, where they were pronounced dead at 5:26 p.m., as reported by ABC6. Fortunately, the drivers of the other two vehicles involved in the crash sustained no injuries.
