A house fire in Placer County last Saturday prompted a response from CAL FIRE/Placer County Fire Department, Lincoln FD, and Wheatland FD. According to the Cal Fire Neu on their Facebook page, firefighters arrived to find the residential structure "well involved" in the fire. Firefighters worked together to control the blaze.
As reported by the Cal Fire Neu the household’s occupants had evacuated before the first responders arrived. With the residents safe, firefighters worked to put out the fire and quickly gained control of the flames. Unfortunately, three animals were confirmed dead after the fire was extinguished.
The quick response from the firefighters helped prevent further damage and injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and authorities are working to determine how it started, as stated by the Cal Fire Neu.
