
The Fort Worth Police are calling for public assistance in an ongoing investigation into a hit-and-run incident that claimed a pedestrian's life earlier this month. According to a social media post from the Fort Worth Police Department, the collision occurred on December 6 at around 11:51 p.m. at 2400 Azle Ave.
The vehicle involved is described as a dark-colored, 4-door sedan, and it is believed, it may be a BMW. After striking the victim, the driver failed to stop and render aid, immediately fleeing the scene. The authorities have released a picture of the presumed suspect vehicle in hopes that witnesses or anyone with information will come forward.
Fort Worth Police have assigned Detective Pearce to the case. They are urging anyone with any leads to contact him directly at 817-392-4868, citing the report number 240096635 for reference. As the investigation continues, any additional information provided by the public could be critical to solving this tragic case.
