As Frisco residents lace up for the Frosty 5K this coming Saturday, race organizers are offering participants the opportunity to beat the rush by picking up their race packets ahead of the event. According to the City of Frisco's official website, interested runners are urged to "get your Frosty shirt and race bib before the race!" suggesting that preparation can ease the hustle of race day morning.
For those early birds keen to swiftly grab their gear, the Frisco Athletic Center, located at 5828 Nancy Jane Lane, is the place to be. With doors open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday and extending their hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday there is plenty of time to pick up your kit. However, note that there is no opportunity to pick up your packet on Friday.
If you haven't already committed to the frosty challenge, there's still time to register for the race. The Frosty 5K, a staple in the Frisco community's winter calendar, welcomes runners of all ages to participate in the seasonal festivity.
