Grand Prairie's new Illuvia water show at EpicCentral is leveling up the entertainment game with its latest artificial intelligence addition, promising a more dynamic and engaging experience for visitors. The "Aquarius Interactive" feature, created by Outside the Lines (OTL), premiered in November and is ready to fully make a splash by January. This patented AI system is forging a novel path in amusement, offering guests control of the water show without the need to even touch a button.
The technology, according to OTL, is simple yet revolutionary – visitors just need to walk near the fountain to trigger the sensors, which in turn unleash a choreographed display of water jets and colored lights. "The AI technology is the first-ever to offer consumers control of water, lights, and effects based on motion alone, with no wires, pressure pads or handheld devices required," J. Wickham Zimmerman, Chief Executive Officer of OTL, told the Grand Prairie news portal.
Zane King, Creative Producer at EpicCentral, shared their excitement about the feature, "We are very excited to have this cutting-edge technology incorporated into Illuvia," King expressed in an interview, as per the City of Grand Prairie. "Our guests are having so much fun playing games with the water, without getting wet. We expect it will encourage our guests to stay and enjoy EpicCentral a little longer, and to offer a fun and exciting place for the community to gather."
