
Hawaii's First Lady, Jaime Kanani Green, has been named a Global Women Peace Ambassador by the Women's Federation for World Peace. The organization, which has been active for 30 years, works to unite women and promote peace worldwide. With a presence in over 100 countries, according to the Office of the Governor.
Women's Federation for World Peace recently honored Green for her work in promoting peace and cooperation across different cultures. She was recognized for her efforts to bridge divides of religion, race, ethnicity, and nationality. Green's work shows her commitment to peace and altruism. "This award is not just a personal recognition—it reflects our shared vision to create a peaceful, unified global society where empathy, care and cooperation serve as the foundation for lasting change," said First Lady Green, as stated by the Office of the Governor.
