A Healdsburg man was arrested for felony arson after being accused of starting a trailer fire on Kennedy Lane. According to the Healdsburg Police Department's social media post, the incident occurred in the early hours yesterday, when witnesses reported both trespassing and the subsequent fire.
The suspect, identified as 31-year-old Charles Fuhrman, was allegedly seen near the fire, which reached 12 feet in height. The individual who reported the incident to the police managed to put out the flames and provided a detailed description of the suspect, which assisted in the arrest. Officers found Fuhrman hiding near a dumpster in the parking lot, matching the description.
Fuhrman was taken into custody and transported to the Sonoma County Jail, where he remains.
