Healdsburg Police made two arrests Monday evening after pulling over a vehicle on suspicion of expired registration. The stop occurred around 6:30 PM at the corner of Matheson and Center Streets. According to the Healdsburg Police Department's social media post, the vehicle was found to be displaying a license plate that did not match the vehicle.

Further investigation and subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded handgun and roughly half an ounce of what is suspected to be methamphetamines. The vehicle's two occupants, 36-year-old Michelle Suzanna of Clearlake and 51-year-old Jason Ryan Hale of Petaluma, were taken into custody.

They are facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and having forged or altered registration. Hale has been additionally charged with the possession of a controlled substance while armed.
