
A man and woman were found dead after a house fire on 127 Rebecca Street in Houston last Saturday morning. Houston Police Department are awaiting autopsy results and investigating the cause of the fire, which was reported at 5:25 a.m. after firefighters extinguished the flames.
The deaths of a 78-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman, found in their home after a fire. Autopsy results, which will help determine the cause of death, are still pending from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The Houston Fire Department responded quickly to the fire, but upon extinguishing the flames, they found the couple unresponsive inside the damaged house, according to the Houston Police Department.
Houston Police Department Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported that two individuals were pronounced deceased at a hospital following a blaze, with no signs of foul play at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Houston Fire Department's Arson Bureau.
