A Houston couple, Hana Ahmad Alolaimi, 35, and her husband, Omar Mahmoud Bishtawi, 48, are facing charges of aggravated assault and kidnapping. The charges stem from a violent plot against a man who was allegedly involved in an affair with Hana. The incident was reported by FOX 26 Houston.
Tension built up to an ambush at a West Houston Chick-fil-A, where Alolaimi reportedly waved the victim into her car. The man, a DoorDash driver, planned to return to work quickly but ended up in a dangerous situation. A judge, in court documentation obtained by KHOU 11, detailed the ordeal: "Your husband jumped out from under a curtain that was in the backseat of the vehicle, put the complaining witness in a chokehold, and pressed a firearm against the complaining witness's head. The complaining witness tried to get away, and your husband shot the complaining witness two times."
The victim, who has chosen to remain anonymous due to safety concerns, revealed that he ended the affair with Alolaimi about three months before the attack, after the relationship became toxic. Despite moving to a new location to escape her, Alolaimi showed up at his residence. The attack left the victim with bullet wounds in his thigh and foot, which impaired sensation below his knee. In a statement to KHOU 11, the victim said that during the attack, Bishtawi told him that his death was necessary because he had "dishonored" his wife. "Con su mano izquierda, me agarra asi y me dice: tu te burlaste de ella," the victim recounted. After the altercation, the suspects reportedly fled but later called the Houston police and surrendered. Bishtawi is currently held on a $200,000 bond, while Alolaimi’s bond has been set at $150,000 as they await further legal proceedings. Both have three children.
