Houston police have made an arrest in the case of a November shooting that left Johnny Felder, 34, dead on Tidwell Road, with charges now filed against 22-year-old Adrian Odell McGee for murder. The Houston Police Department identified the victim as Mr. Felder, who was found unresponsive, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement by the HPD, with detectives C. Chettry and H. Martinez leading the investigation into the incident which was reported around 7:30 p.m. on November 23.
An initial lack of witnesses and suspects left the case cold until surveillance photos resulted in one person of interest coming forward to provide a statement and subsequently being released, while the second person of interest remains at large, their photo circulating in hopes that the public might shed light on their identity. Meanwhile, McGee found himself confronted by an unrelated charge that saw him in custody at the Harris County Jail where the new charge of murder was filed against him for his alleged role in Felder's death.
