
Houston authorities are investigating a fatal incident in which a 20-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle on Greens Road on Tuesday night. The collision occurred around 10:35 p.m. near the 500 block of Greens Road. The woman's name has not been released, as the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is still working on an official identification, according to the Houston Police Department.
A woman ran into the road and was hit by a westbound black Hyundai Sonata. "The driver of the Hyundai stopped and remained at the scene," cooperating with authorities. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver showed no signs of intoxication and was questioned and released by police. No charges have been filed against him at this time, as stated by the Houston Police Department.
