The collision occurred around 10:35 p.m. near the 500 block of Greens Road. A woman ran into the road and was hit by a westbound black Hyundai Sonata. "The driver of the Hyundai stopped and remained at the scene," cooperating with authorities. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The driver showed no signs of intoxication and was questioned and released by police.
