Houston police are currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred last Sunday morning at an apartment on Persimmon Street. A man, whose identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was found unresponsive on the front porch with a gunshot wound and pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the Houston Police Department.
Around 9:05 a.m., officers were called to 3347 Persimmon Street for a person down. Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder from the Houston Police Department Homicide Division are investigating. Witnesses say they heard an argument and several gunshots around 3 a.m. that morning.
