
Authorities are asking for the public's help to track down a suspect vehicle linked to a deadly shooting that recently occurred in Houston. The Houston Police Department has released a surveillance photo of a dark-colored SUV, believed to be associated with the incident where a young male was fatally shot at 6900 Caddo Lake Lane on the evening on Saturday. The vehicle's image has been disseminated in hopes that someone might come forward with information.
The situation turned fatal around 6:40 p.m. on Saturday when the victim, an unidentified 17-year-old boy according to the City of Houston official news release, was found unresponsive after being shot multiple times. HPD Homicide Division Detectives N. Henderson and L. Patterson reported that the young man was discovered by patrol officers and was later pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
During the investigation, it was learned that the victim had engaged with the individual(s) driving the SUV. The interaction quickly escalated, leading to gunfire. The victim notably returned fire at the suspect(s) after being shot. Despite the release of the surveillance photo, no detailed suspect descriptions have been made available to the public at this time.
