A fatal hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Houston last night is under investigation, with authorities conducting an extensive search for the responsible individual. As detailed by FOX 26 Houston, the crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Kirby Road near Westridge Street.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was discovered on the road, prompting a swift response from Houston police and EMS. Despite efforts to urgently tend to the man, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Early reports indicate that the man was struck by at least one vehicle that failed to stop.
