A man pulled a knife on a victim who caught him breaking into his car in a downtown Houston parking garage on October 17, around 6:00 pm. The Houston Police Department is asking the public for help identifying the suspect.
The victim was walking to his car in a parking garage on the 1500 block of Louisiana when he saw a theft happening. He started recording the incident on his phone, which caused the thief to get out of the car and threaten him with a knife. The victim backed away, and the thief quickly ran away through the garage's stairwell, according to the Houston Police Department.
Authorities are searching for a white male suspect, about 5'5" tall and weighing 190 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes, and carrying a backpack and facemask.
