A shooting in Houston last Saturday night left one man dead and another injured. The incident occurred around 11:05 p.m. at 10600 Jordan Heights Drive. The 19-year-old victim who died has not been identified yet, while an 18-year-old male was wounded and is in stable condition at a hospital, according to the Houston Police Department.
The Houston Police Department Homicide Division, led by Detectives E. Camacho and K. Hale, is still investigating. Officers were first alerted by the driver of a white Cadillac SUV, who stopped them on East Tidwell Road. The driver said he found a man inside the vehicle with gunshot wounds, and paramedics later pronounced him dead at the scene.
Prior to a shooting on Jordan Heights Drive, the driver of a Cadillac had brought a now-deceased male to the location for a meeting with an unidentified individual. While the two were talking, three men approached the vehicle and opened fire, hitting both men inside. In an attempt to escape, the driver fled, but the suspects continued shooting as the vehicle sped away, with the trio of suspects, described as black males, fleeing on foot. The unknown male at the scene was also injured and later received medical treatment. The Houston Police Department is seeking public help in solving the case and encourages anyone with information to contact the Houston Police Department Homicide Division or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
