
A recent traffic incident in Houston has culminated in tragedy, as a woman who was critically injured in a November 23 crash has now succumbed to her injuries. The accident occurred at 1200 Houston Avenue around 8:05 a.m., when the 25-year-old female, whose name has yet to be verified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, was driving a red Volkswagen Jetta and failed to maintain her lane, colliding with a bridge.
Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department were quick to respond to the scene and transported the woman to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, she was pronounced dead on Wednesday, December 4. This development was reported in an official release provided by the Houston Police Department (HPD) Vehicular Crimes Division, with Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer M. Mathews listed as the reporting officers.
