A 57-year-old man from Iron Ridge was arrested yesterday evening after leading Dodge County deputies on a vehicle chase. According to FOX6 News, the pursuit began when the suspect, identified as Christoper Leu, was clocked driving 21 mph over the speed limit on State Highway 33 near Pierce Road and subsequently fled from the deputy.

Reported at around 6:50 p.m., the incident escalated when Leu, instead of pulling over, drove to his home and ran inside, ignoring the deputy's orders. However, Leu did emerge later and cooperated with law enforcement. He was then taken into custody and transported to the Dodge County Jail, reported Channel 3000.

This incident marked the second vehicle pursuit deputies dealt with on Sunday. Leu is now facing charges including knowingly fleeing an officer and resisting or obstructing an officer. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office reiterated the importance of complying with law enforcement, reminding drivers that stopping for officers is the safest course of action, as stated by WKOW.
