
A juvenile has been taken into custody following a double-homicide in Salisbury, with the arrest occurring just days after two individuals were found deceased with gunshot injuries, as confirmed by the Salisbury Police Department. The incident, which took place near the 1800 block of 3rd Street, unfolded in the early hours, at around 8:30 a.m. or 8:40 a.m. according to various reports. The victims, identified as Shamarion Hooker, 20, and Skylar Mackey, 21, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the incident, a brief description of a male fleeing the area was provided, leading to a multi-day search. Eventually, the police apprehended a male juvenile on Thursday. He faces grave allegations, including murder, and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, "We are actively working to understand the details of this tragic event," a spokesperson from the department said, according to WCNC.
