Kannapolis Police Department is currently on the lookout for three men after the homicide of Angelo Markantonakis, a 26-year-old found shot to death on Christmas Eve. The investigation into the events leading up to his death at a residence on Windy Rush Drive is active and ongoing. According to WBTV, the crime which took place around 11:30 a.m. yesterday, does not appear to be random, and the descriptions of the suspects have been circulated in an effort to bring them into custody.
The first suspect is a Black male with dark skin and brown eyes, with an orange tint, standing somewhere between 5’8” and 6 feet. He was last seen dressed in a black hoodie, black knit gloves, and a camo shiesty mask with green trim. Armed with a small handgun, his presence poses a potential threat to public safety. The second individual is also a Black male around 6 feet tall, clad entirely in black clothing. The third, a heavyset Black male with light skin, ranges in height from 5’8" to 6 feet, and wore a sweatshirt without any identifying marks together, with a tan shiesty mask, as reported by QC News.
The Kannapolis Police Department has not released photographs of the suspects, but urges anyone with information to come forward. Also, information can be submitted anonymously through various community tip lines.
