Describing the nightmarish experience, Santana told KPRC 2, "I felt just a big pain in my legs and it kind of like, gave me like a shock." Despite the chaotic scene and his severe injuries, Santana held on to hope, crediting his faith and thoughts of his children for his determination to survive.
