Kirkland residents are encouraged to provide input on the city’s podcast, This Week in Kirkland. Hosted by Deputy City Manager for External Affairs Jim Lopez, the podcast is seeking community feedback through scheduled focus groups. Both regular listeners and those newly aware of the podcast are invited to participate, as outlined in a recent announcement on the City of Kirkland's website.
The focus groups aim to gather feedback on the podcast’s current format, suggestions for improvement, and insights into potential barriers preventing new listeners from tuning in. From interview topics to sound quality or humor, the podcast team is eager to hear suggestions and adapt to better serve the community.
Sessions will take place on December 16 at City Hall and on December 17 virtually, both from 4:00–5:00 P.M. Interested participants can sign up via a brief form available on the City of Kirkland's website. By involving the community, the city hopes to make This Week in Kirkland a must-listen staple of local media.
