Captain Jason Overton from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office has graduated from the FBI National Academy’s Session 292. He joined 257 U.S. officers and 27 international representatives for this tough training program, which focuses on improving leadership and policing skills for today’s challenges, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

The FBI National Academy provided Captain Overton with an opportunity to engage in a curriculum focused on leadership, media relations, critical decision-making, and other key areas relevant to law enforcement. His studies also included conflict resolution, officer wellness, and physical training. This accomplishment reflects his commitment to personal development and improving the effectiveness of the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

Captain Overton recently graduated from the FBI National Academy. He said, "Graduating from the FBI National Academy is not just another check in the box or a resume builder, it is an opportunity for a lifelong commitment to leadership, professionalism, and honored service to the citizens of Knox County, TN." Captain Overton looks forward to using what he learned to better serve Knox County, as stated by the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
