
A devastating hit-and-run incident in Westlake has ended in tragedy for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle earlier this month. According to NBC Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department is actively investigating the case where a man was fatally hit by a silver Nissan Sentra around 11 p.m. on Dec. 2 in an alleyway near Westlake Avenue and north of Wilshire Boulevard.
The aftermath of the collision left the victim in urgent need of medical attention, prompting paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department to respond to the site of the accident, where they found the pedestrian critically injured and subsequently transported him to a local hospital unfortunately however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
