Cactus Park Elementary, a free public charter school in Las Vegas, has completed a major school and farm expansion. This development supports a well-rounded curriculum focused on wellness, social identity, academic excellence, and civic engagement, according to News3LV.

As part of the expansion, the charter school, located at 3115 Las Vegas Blvd N., revealed a new multipurpose room, a state-of-the-art science lab, an outdoor classroom, and a fresh kitchen designed to bolster the "Farm to School" food program which serves meals prepared from on-site grown produce, Vegas24Seven noted.

The school's curriculum is integrated with its on-site farm, featuring an updated chicken coop, expanded goat run, hydroponics, and garden beds, including a native pollinator garden, an herb garden, and a compost area, as per the details shared by News3LV.

Cactus Park Elementary celebrated its expansion with a Foodie Fest yesterday, featuring food trucks, games, campus tours, and performances. The event also served as an open house for prospective students and parents, according to Vegas24Seven.
