In a stroke of luck befitting the holiday season, a Pennsylvania Lottery New Year's Millionaire Raffle ticket—carrying a prize of $50,000—was sold in Westmoreland County. The ticket numbered 00230230, was purchased at BFS Foods on Route 51 in Belle Vernon, as reported by WPXI. This prize is part of a series of bonus drawings, culminating in the Millionaire Raffle drawing on Jan. 4, 2025.
As reported by Audacy, the lucky BFS Foods customer wasn't alone in their win. In the recent drawing, winners from Cumberland, Philadelphia, and Bradford Counties claimed $50,000 each. The game's structure promises to create not one but four millionaires come January 4, with top prizes reaching a million dollars.
Only 500,000 raffle tickets, each costing $20, are available to keep the raffle exclusive and increase the odds of winning. Over 6,000 prizes are offered, so every ticket is a chance to win. Winners from the latest draw should claim their prize soon at a PA Lottery Office. For those still waiting, the next winning ticket could be yours.
