Chaos erupted in a Sand Point apartment complex when a man, who had been reported to be unconscious inside a vehicle, attempted a desperate escape from Seattle police, ramming into multiple cars in the process. According to the SPD Blotter, the incident occurred yesterday morning when officers responded to calls about the man, aged 31, who was slumped over in an Audi A6 sedan.

The police, in a bid to avert potential danger to the public, strategically parked their cruisers around the suspect's vehicle, but their attempts to wake him using PA announcements and sirens eventually led to an aggressive response from the man behind the wheel who started the Audi and went on the offensive, pushing patrol vehicles aside and hitting several parked cars. Three police cars and four civilian vehicles were damaged before the suspect was rendered immobile as his car was disabled.

Despite his vehicle being incapacitated, the man refused to exit his car, which led to a 30-minute negotiation period with Seattle police. As reported by the SPD Blotter, the standoff ended without further incident as he gave up and was apprehended for felony malicious mischief.

Following the arrest, investigators found suspected meth and a meth pipe in his possession, indicating potential drug involvement in the case. He was transported to the North Precinct, where he now faces charges.
