
A man was fatally stabbed on Fremont Street in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, around 11:53 p.m. The incident took place near Charleston Boulevard, following an altercation, according to FOX5 Las Vegas.
Police responded to a report of a man with stab wounds found on a sidewalk. Despite receiving medical attention and being transported to UMC Hospital, the man later died from his injuries. Homicide detectives believe the incident may have resulted from a verbal altercation between the two men. "The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office,” according to a statement from police, as stated by FOX5 Las Vegas.
The KTNV report states that a fight broke out between two men on Fremont Street, with the suspect fleeing the scene before authorities arrived. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Section or to remain anonymous by reaching out to Crime Stoppers."This is an ongoing investigation."
