A San Antonio neighborhood was impacted by a drive-by shooting late yesterday when a man was injured. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. on the 1400 block of West Woodlawn Avenue. A 39-year-old man, who was sitting on his front porch, was hit by multiple bullets and taken to the hospital with a leg injury, according to KENS5.
San Antonio police reported that assailants drove up in a blue sedan, with three individuals emerging to open fire on the man, as detailed in a preliminary report. The unidentified victim is now in stable condition at the hospital, as per KSAT.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and police have yet to release a description of the suspects involved. The blue sedan fled eastbound on Woodlawn Avenue following the gunfire.
