As the city gears up for the holiday season, Mansfield residents can mark their calendars for schedule adjustments on city services. According to a social media post from the City of Mansfield, Texas Municipal Government, city offices will take a short break this Christmas, closing doors on Dec. 24-25. While administrative functions pause, locals can still expect their residential curbside trash and recycling services to run without interruption.
The Mansfield Public Library and the Mansfield Activities Center will observe the holiday closure, shutting their doors to the public on the exact dates, Dec. 24-25. For the city's older community who might look forward to the gatherings and events at Senior Lifestyles, a longer break is in store, as services will be unavailable through Dec. 23-26.
Yet, the season's festivities don’t halt all civic operations. Residents who need to manage mundane matters like utility payments are in luck. Over the holiday, customers can still drop off payments at the City Hall drop box or make payments online, ensuring that even as the city takes a breath, the civic pulse continues, albeit at a quieter rhythm.
