According to a social media post by the City of Maple Grove's local government, this year's wintry celebration takes a whimsical turn as Santa and Mrs. Claus depart from their usual high-flying sleigh to glide across the ice at Central Park. Designed to delight families and children, the event is set for December 14, from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring an evening under the bright lights and holiday music.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their skates, though rentals are conveniently available for those who need them, along with skate sharpening services. The community can anticipate not just the allure of the rink under the glow of festive lights, but also, the opportunity to capture memories with Santa and Mrs. Claus. As per the announcement, "Don’t forget a camera for fun and free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus!" ensuring that guests can take a piece of the magic home.
