A 41-year-old man from Marine City was found dead early Sunday morning in St. Clair County, with officials reporting a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. According to The Detroit News, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office stated that a passerby noticed the body on the side of Keewahdin Road near Campbell Road at around 2:30 a.m.
The sheriff's office disclosed that the incident is still under investigation, however, they indicated that there is no threat to the public and that no foul play is suspected. In a separate release, the Macomb Daily reported that the road was closed for several hours as deputies worked to process the scene. The road has since been reopened.
