Nassau County police have disclosed the identity of the woman who lost her life in a grisly stabbing incident on Christmas Eve in Massapequa. The victim, recognized as 57-year-old Josefina Ramirez Montero, sustained multiple stab wounds in an assault that took place near Old Sunrise Highway and Clocks Boulevard, as reported by NBC New York.
According to authorities, they found Ramirez Montero unresponsive around 7 p.m. on the evening before the holiday. Paramedics quickly arrived and attempted to provide medical assistance at the scene, despite the urgency, Ramirez Montero's injuries proved fatal after her arrival at a nearby hospital. The discovery was made at 5714 Old Sunrise Highway, a locale encompassed by a variety of businesses including a gym and an autobody shop, as per details from a News 12 Long Island report.
