Mayor Linda Martin of Euless has joined The Salvation Army of North Texas Mayoral Challenge, an initiative where mayors from the region compete to raise funds for people facing hardships. As a part of this charitable competition, Mayor Martin is set to volunteer her time this weekend.

On Saturday, December 14, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Mayor Martin will ring the iconic Salvation Army bell outside of Kroger at 1060 N. Main Street. This effort is part of a broader campaign that encourages community members to aid the Salvation Army’s cause by making donations. The City of Euless's official website states, "All donations are greatly appreciated."
